Allison Fries, M.A. is a Doctoral Clinical Intern who specializes in working with adolescents and adults. She has experience providing individual and family psychotherapy for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, family conflict, coping skills, and low self-esteem. Allison utilizes an integrative therapeutic framework incorporating strategies and techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family systems. As a Clinical Intern, Allison receives supervision under a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Allison is a doctoral graduate student at the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Northern Virginia, where she earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She received her Bachelor's degree from Emory University. Her doctoral training has included providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and families at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. She also received extensive training in conducting psychological, neuropsychological, and educational evaluations at the Dominion Center for Behavioral Health Services (DCBHS).
