Dr. Alison Krawiecki received her Bachelors of Arts (with honors in psychology) from Central Washington University, then her Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology (APA Accredited) with specialization in Behavioral Medicine. Her doctoral internship was completed at the Denver Veterans Administration Medical Center/Eastern CO Healthcare System (accredited by the American Psychological Association). She has been a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado since 2005.

Dr. Krawiecki completed her postdoctoral training at Regis University and through a clinical fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and behavioral medicine at the Colorado Neurological Institute (of which she was a member until 2014). She was in private practice and on staff at Porter Adventist Hospital and Swedish Medical Center from 2005-2014 when she and her family moved from Colorado to Northern Virginia.

Dr. Krawiecki has been a licensed psychologist in Virginia and West Virginia since 2014. She was an assistant professor (clinical) at the West Virginia University School of Medicine-Eastern Division, Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry until June 2017. At WVU she acted as the psychiatry clerkship director (training third year medical students), saw patients in an outpatient clinic through WVU Medicine: University Healthcare Physicians, and was the founding Training Director of the doctoral psychology internship program.

Specialties: Clinical neuropsychology, behavioral medicine/health psychology, pre-surgical psychological evaluations (e.g., pre-bariatric surgery, pre-spinal surgery), teaching and supervision, somatoform disorder assessments (e.g., confirmation or rule-outs of conversion disorders, psychological factors affecting medical conditions), psychological assessment for differential diagnosis, assessment of previously undiagnosed ADHD in adults, treatment of somatoform disorders, co-existing medical and mental health issues, coping with medical illness.
