She has experience with the assessment of many disability categories such as ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Autism, and Specific Learning Disability.

Dr. A has a professional and personal passion for equity work and social justice, building in time during treatment sessions to explore the impact systems of privilege and discrimination have on an individual's experiences. She is particularly interested in the treatment of mood dysregulation and identity formation in adolescent populations. Utilizing a trauma-informed approach, with aspects of both cognitive behavioral and client centered therapy, Dr. Williams works with children and adolescents to identify treatment goals and apply psychological science towards goal attainment. She views treatment sessions as a collaboration of experts working toward client’s success and skill building (healing, growth, etc.).
