Kelly Andrews is a LPC, licensed in the state of Virginia. She initially started her work with children and adolescents after graduating from George Washington University in 2007 with a master’s degree in Special Education. Kelly started as a psycho-educator in a public charter school in Washington DC. There she was responsible for teaching adolescents with emotional and behavioral disabilities.

In 2013 Kelly went on to receive an additional master’s degree in Counseling from George Mason University and has been working as a therapist in various settings. Kelly’s clinical experience started in private practice, working primarily with children, adolescents and families.

Kelly’s therapeutic orientation lends itself to CBT, DBT, Family systems model, Mindfulness, Play/Art therapy as well as Person-centered therapy. Additionally Kelly worked at the Prince William County CSB with adolescents and families facilitating Virginia Independent Clinical Assessments (VICAP). Currently she is employed at North Spring Acute Hospital as a therapist for youth requiring inpatient treatment. Kelly has many years of experience working with children and adolescents providing therapeutic support to families and individuals.
