Marian Shenoda is a clinical intern at Atlantic Counseling Group. She has achieved her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Religious Studies and Sociology, from Virginia Commonwealth University (2018). Marian is currently in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program and working toward her Masters in Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Marian believes that therapy is a collaborative process and meets her clients where they are at. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Gestalt Theory as well as Narrative therapy with her clients. She works with the ages of 6 to 64 years and, offers therapy for: Anger Issues, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, CBT, Coping Skills, Depression, Domestic Violence (Offenders and Victims), Dual Diagnosis, Emotional Disturbance, Family Therapy/Parenting Issues, Grief, Life Transitions, Oppositional Defiance, Parenting, Peer Relationships, Racial Identity, School Issues, Self-Esteem, Self-Harming, and Stress.
