Sherita has a passion for working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families through the development of a trusting, non-judgemental, and encouraging therapeutic environment. Her focus is to help others navigate daily life challenges, to restore and rebuild relationships, developing practical communication skills, and self-acceptance. She works with various people groups in the areas of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/self-worth, communication issues, conflict resolution, and other challenges.

Sherita uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Integrative Therapy (IT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and other therapeutic techniques, based on the needs of the clients. Her efforts help clients identify issues, manage emotions, develop effective communication, and learn positive coping skills. She also provides spiritual integration in counseling for clients who request support. Sherita works collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals in counseling with hope as an anchor.

Sherita holds an M.A in Professional Counseling and a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Christian Counseling. She is currently a Resident in Counseling, receiving supervision under a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mike Vazzana, LPC.
